• Eg: solar, geothermal, wind, tidal, water, biomass etc. 

Nonrenewable resources

• Natural resource that can not be remade or re-grown at a scale comparable to its consumption. 
• Eg: nuclear energy, coal, petroleum, natural gas etc.
